Founder of The Punch House Danny Calhoun graduated from the University of Cincinnati where he played college football for 3 years(2001-2003). While training for football with the Bearcats Calhoun studied personal training through the American Counsel of Exercise(ACE). He has over 26 years of experience in the fitness industry and over 300 Boxing bouts. Calhoun completed college courses at Xavier University.

While at Xaviers College of Business Calhoun was a winner of the Xavier Launch-A-Business(X-LAB) program furthering his education along with growing The Punch House. He is currently a member of the Xavier University Board of Directors at the college of business. He is also an Board Member of the North Avondale Business Association (NABA). Calhoun helps manage TPH franchise locations and is heavily involved in the training and managing process of the entire company.

Calhoun is constantly promoting The Punch House on television and is a regular on all major news channels. He organizes many fundraising events for the community every year. 

While staying in shape for football Calhoun started Boxing for Fitness and lost over 100lbs. Since then, Calhoun has been Boxing 10 years. Calhoun teaches people good health and the same Boxing for Fitness exercises that transformed his body at the Punch House. Calhoun is a retired world ranked professional boxer. He teaches the average person, college, and professional athletes hand speed, footwork, and cardiovascular endurance through boxing exercises while challenging his clients and himself everyday at the Punch House.

Currently Danny helps raise thousands of dollars for the Police Department, Fire Department, Semper Fi Fund, and the United States Armed Forces. He raises the funds by hosting multiple boxing events for including "Punch Out, Derby Days, and the Wiedemanns Beer Boxing Championships." These events are widely popular in the Midwest Tri State Area and national expansion plans are currently in motion. Anyone can donate directly by going to
